still creating

Yes, yes - I'm keeping up with the plan of creating something handmade each week ... over-achieving, actually! So far, I've learned guitar chords, created printed photo books, explored new music, made great playlists, and even created a master list of handmade projects to tackle when time allows. All that to say: I'm on it!

My computer died a couple of weeks ago, taking with it the files and photos and programs all necessary to make these posts happen. Some nail-biting later, the Geek Squad came through and I finally got up and running again today. During my laptop-hiatus, I realized that having limited access to a computer felt kinda nice. My comfort tells me that I may be spending too many nights enjoying the warmth of a computing device on my lap vs. something more ... ah ... real? So, it may only be a matter of hours, but I'm not quite ready to jump back in at full speed just yet.

For now, why don't you enjoy the view from my lovely walk in snowy Gatineau Park? Life outside the computer screen is suuuuure pretty! I'll be back soon.
